The Artist

Introducing Mya & Mia, the artist, of The Artism Studio. Art has been a way of expression since the girls were 3. 

Mya who is on the Autism spectrum begin drawing as a way to help her stay busy and calm her mind. As she grew so did her artistic abilities and more and more art was being made to the point it had to be stored in bins. 

Mia the youngest of the twins found herself interested in duplicating pictures she saw. She realized that with time, patience, and practice she could perfect her art and begin to create her own characters.

Both girls have been entered into the Houston Rodeo Art Show, been apart of Connect the Culture networking event, and a variety of other events showcasing their art.
